Effective July 1, 2008, the Office of State Budget and Management increased the travel mileage reimbursement rates.
The mileage reimbursement rate increased from 25 cents per mile to 33 cents per mile when a state-owned vehicle is available, and an employee chooses to use his/her own vehicle on trips that exceed 100 miles roundtrip.
The mileage reimbursement rate increased from 50.5 cents per mile to 58.5 cents per mile when a state-owned vehicle is not available or when the round trip mileage does not exceed 100 miles roundtrip.
The travel mileage rates have been updated in the Travel Web Application.
